Getting Here

From Brisbane

Cleveland is 35km (40 mins) from Brisbane CBD, and can be reached by car, bus or train from the city centre.

By Car

Travel south along the Pacific Highway, take the Old Cleveland Road exit and follow the signs to Cleveland. Once in Cleveland follow the signs to Toondah Harbour at the bottom of Middle Street. From Toondah Harbour take the water taxi or vehicle ferry to Dunwich.

By train

From Central or Roma Street Station, take the CityTrain Cleveland line to Cleveland. Trains run regularly (approximately every half hour). A shuttle bus is available between Cleveland train station and the two water taxi terminals.

From the Gold Coast

Cleveland is 90km (75 mins) from the centre of the Gold Coast and 75km from Surfers Paradise. Buses and trains are available on this route.

By Car

By train

A Trainlink Bus Service operates from Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach (Pacific Fair) to Nerang train station. From Nerang, take the train to Brisbane Central station. Change trains and take the CityTrain Cleveland line to Cleveland. Trains run regularly (approximately every half hour). A shuttle bus is available between Cleveland train-station and Stradbroke Ferries Water Taxi terminal.
